CHRISTMAS LOOKS

Hi everybody!

Christmas eve is already tomorrow, so I thought I would post some more Christmas looks inspo on the internet.
I chose two different styles.

The first one I call the black look, it is a very neutral make up look, with black liner on the eyes and nude glossy lips.
The dress I chose is a black lace one from asos, I paired it with a necklace from Mango.

The second one, the white look, is a very festive look. Escpecially because of the dark red lips that give the look a sexy and feminine touch. I kept the eyes very basic and simple, a little black liner, not too much, because the attention needs to go to the lips!
The shirt I and necklace I wore are from H&M.

Which look do you prefer? And what are you wearing on Christmas?

WORKOUT PLAYLIST 2012

Hi everyone!

Today I want to share my workout playlist with you. I feel like I can be really motivated to push harder and longer when the right music is playing. Motivation to work out in the gym is essential to me. Some days I just feel like working out for 5 minutes and going home (hmmm couch and cookies), but if you have the right beat to back you up, you'll be doing a workout of 2 hours in no time!

These are the 15 most played songs on my ipod of the last year.

Will.I.Am ft. Britney Spears - Scream and shout

Beyonce - Love on top

Jennifer Lopez ft. Pitbull - Dance again

Flo Rida - I cry

Christina Aguilera - Your body

Usher - Scream

Justin Bieber ft. Nicki Minaj - Beauty and a beat

Nicki Minaj - Starships

Bruno Mars - Locked out of heaven

Calvin Harris ft. Florence Welch - Sweet nothing

Rihanna ft. David Guetta - Right now

Alicia Keys ft. Nicki Minaj - Girl on fire

Ne-yo - Let me love you

Do you guys have any tips for me? New songs always motivate me to go to the gym!

BRAIDED HAIRSTYLE OF THE DAY

Hellooow!

I wanted to show you my favorite daily hairstyle of the past couple of weeks!

On schooldays I like to get ready fast in the mornings. I don't want to spend hours on my hair and make up because that means I have to get up at like 5 am (and 7 am is already too early for me :D). That is why I often opt for a simple braided hairstyle.
The one I wore today is just a classic french braid where I pull out some hair strands to give it a more messy and fun look. I also pull on the braided parts, to make the three braided strands look more thick and wide, also for a more casual look.

DIY MARBLE NAILS

Hi everyone!

I got a really fun tutorial for you today. It is called marble nails and has been around for a while now, but I hadn't discovered it until recent. Since I have known this technique I've been really loving it.
I'll take you through it step by step.
First you will need some supplies. All of theses items you will probably find in your house. The things you need are: 3 nailpolishes (any colors you want), a top coat, a cup with room temperature water, some scissors, toothpicks, paper towels, nailpolish remover and some cotton pads.

1. Paint your nail with a first coat of nailpolish.
2. Paint your nails a second time with the same polish.
3. Drop some nailpolishdrops in a cup of (room temperature) water. Then you choose another color and drop them in the first color.

4. Repeat this process with as many colors as you like until you get a spiral-looking shape in the cup.
5. Take a toothpick and create a shape you like in the water. Best is to create from top to middle, then you get prettier shapes.

6. Take you finger and dip it in the place, the shape you like to have on your nail.
7. Leave your finger under the surface for about 10 seconds. While you are waiting take your toothpick and collect the nailpolish around your nail. This way it won't get on your nail when you take it out of the water.

After you're done, let your finger dry for about 30 seconds, remove the access polish off your finger with a cotton pad and nailpolish remover. Then complete the look with a shiny top coat. This will make your nails look even more pretty and will make the result last longer.

You can also dip two or even three fingers in at the same time, but then you have less control of the shapes on your nails.  I usually do two fingers at the same time, otherwise I feel like I'm wasting too much product.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and have fun trying it out!

BLONDE VS BRUNETTE

Hello everyone!

I have been struggling with the girliest problem of them all: hair! I have always been someone who likes to change up her hair and I can't stick with one style for a long time. When I get my hair done on Monday, I am thinking about doing something else on Wednesday. The only thing that keeps me from changing it up so often is the condition of my locks. I don't want to damage them too much (it is pretty dry already!).

For the past six years I have always had my hair long but changed the color every couple of months. Blonde, platinum blonde, dark brown, reddish brown, brown with highlights, and so on!

Now it is winter again I feel i should go darker again. I like how it makes my hair look healthier and I think it suits the season better.

But dilemma: I know I'll miss my sunkissed blonde locks as soon as I go through summer pictures or see blondies in the streets.

These are my "hair candy boards" that always make me want to change:

Brown

Blonde

Soo.. which color do you think suits me better?

And do you change your hair color a lot?

DIY FRENCH MANICURE

Hi everyone!

Today I have got a classic nail tutorial for you. I think everyone is familiar with the french manicure, it's an oldie but a goodie. I like to wear this style on a daily base, I think it is a very natural and clean look but gives a woman's hand also a classy touch.
This is how I do a french manicure on myself.

What you will need:

  • Sheer pink nailpolish
  • White nailpolish
  • Shiny topcoat
  • Tape
  • (Scissors, optional if you have tape you need to cut)
Start off with clean nails, no nailpolish on them.

 1. Put a coat of the pink polish on your nails. Let it dry very well.

 2. Take a piece of tape and put it on your nail, leave out the edge of your nail you would like to paint white.

 3. Take your white polish and put it on the edge of your nail that is left out of the tape. Let it dry and repeat. Now you have two coats of white on your nail. Let the second coat dry again.

4. Take off the tape carefully.
5. Put a shiny topcoat on your nail to finish the look.

And you are done!

Hope you will try out this easy tutorial! x x x
