KALEY CUOCO'S NEW PIXIE HAIR

Another pixie beauty is taking over the Hollywood scene. At the beginning of July actress Kaley Cuoco put the scissors into her long blonde locks and this week she decided to go even shorter! 

After sporting a trendy asymetrical bob for some weeks, Kaley went for a drastic short hairstyle. It's definitely a lot more bold than her Girl Next Door Look she has gotten famous for in 8 Simple Rules and The Big Bang Theory.

I personally prefer her with longer hair, although I do like the pixie more than the bob on her. However she's such a cute girl who can wear all lengths of hair. When you think about it, she has been acting for over ten years and has always been seen with her over the shoulder blonde locks. A change was long overdue!

NICKI MINAJ'S MAKEUNDER

Nicki Minaj is looking slightly different lately... It almost seems as if the rapper turned moviestar went from Bubblicious to Girl Next Door Chic overnight. Nicki ditched the blonde wig and flashy makeup and has been spotted in more subtle looks at red carpet events.

What Nicki has to say about her new look:

"It's not a makeover, it's coming full circle. I went so far to the other side that there's only one place to go from there. You can either continue doing costumes or you can just say: "Hey, guess what? This will shock them even more"

Even when I did my Elle magazine cover and got a new hairstylist and was wearing more natural looking hair and toned down makeup, I was getting myself to this place where I was wearing my real hair out. I knew I was gonna do it, I wasn't going to announce it to the world, but I knew it would happen. And I think we've successfully done it."

I love the change! I think it shows a hidden side of Nicki that reveals vulnerability and sincerity. It's almost as if the mask has come off and the real Nicki has been presented.

PAMELA ANDERSON GOES PIXIE CUT

It seems like Pamela Anderson is the latest pixie cut victim! The former Baywatch babe is on trend by chopping it all off for Fall. It's a big, BIG change for her and her fans, since she's had her long blonde locks for over 20 years! Her hair and her two other trademarks have been part of her signature sexy look, until now that is! Miss Anderson has opted for a more age appropriate hairstyle with a very short and sassy pixie cut. 

I personally have to get used to Pamela with hair this length. However, I do think it's an improvement from the long hair. The pixie gives her a more youthful look. After all she is already 46, not many women can pull off super long hair after 45 in my opinion. For Pamela it certainly didn't really do much for her face. But I might would've preferred seeing her experiment a little more before chopping it all off. I can only imagine how boring it would be wearing the same hairstyle for twenty years straight. I think a bob or an asymmetrical shoulder length do would look great on her too. 

Whether you like it or not, one thing is for sure: Pamela looks like a complete renewed person and is showing she has entered a phase of her life where she isn't afraid to take risks. Pam said about her haircut: "I just thought my hair had a life and I kind of wanted to put that behind me and start fresh" 

Now only if she could make those eyebrows look more natural...

KIM KARDASHIAN GOES BLONDE

New mommy Kim K. has turned over to the blonde side! The "Keeping up with the Kardashians" reality star and sisters are well known for their curvy bodies and brunette manes, but Kim decided to give herself a little makeover and went blonde for autumn.

She was seen leaving a friend's barbecue where she debuted a slightly shorter do with black roots and blonde lenghts.

It isn't the first time Kim ditched her trademark brunette locks, in 2009 she lightened her hair as well. She first fooled her fans by wearing a blonde wig and looked almost unrecognizable. At the Teen Choice Awards later that year she revealed the real thing saying "This time it's for real guys! I went blonde!!".

It was a change that left her fans divided, some loved the sunkissed look on Kim, some thought the blonde manes took away her exotic and mysterious appeal.

Later on Kim proved that blondes do have more fun by rocking out some crazy blonde wigs to fool the paparazzi and to dress up for Halloween.

This time however the dye wasn't a complete surprise, Kim has been hinting on Twitter that she missed her blonde hair and her "Threw Back Thursdays" referred to pics from her golden era.

Besides, Kim isn't the only sister who went blonder this year. Khloe has been seen with ombre hair for quite some time now and went even blonde past summer.

Older sister Kourtney decided to add some highlights to her black manes, and even added some bangs.

Are The Kardashians starting a new blonde trend? 

They are certainly stepping out of their "long black hair extensions" comfort zone, since starting their reality adventure.

CANDICE SWANEPOEL GOES PLATINUM BLONDE

Candice Swanepoel showed up last thursday at the amfAR Inspiration Gala in New York looking a little different. She lightened her golden blonde locks to a platinum blonde shade. Candice said she impulsively dyed her hair two hours before the event because she felt the need for a change. The Victoria's Secret model added that "blondes do have more fun"! 

I personally love to change hair colors and I can only support those who aren't afraid to change it up. Considering Candice makes a living off her looks, it was definitely a risk to ditch her natural girl next door look. I've always thought the South African model was a beautiful girl with an amazing body, but the platinum blonde hair makes her appear more edgy and high fashion. I think it was a positive impulse that can only boost her modeling career even more! 

Although I love the lighter shade, her hair does look more dry and damaged. I hope she'll  take care of her bleached manes with enough repairing masks and serums, but I'm sure she'll have 20 hairdressers to back her up with her new look.
